a message from r. Scott vaughn

THANK YOU.
I've tried writing this post a few times, and honestly, there just aren't enough words to express how grateful I am.
The 10th Annual Cleveland Musicians' Fundraiser is in the books, and my heart is full.
First and foremost, I need to thank the people who make this event happen every single year—our incredible committee.
My wife Kathy, Brandon, Amy, Fred Rout, Fred Hahn, Keith, Vic, and Denise... the last two days were absolutely brutal, and you all busted your asses from sunrise until well after the lights went out. Some of you have been with us since the very beginning. Others joined us along the way. No matter when you came aboard, you've become an invaluable part of what makes this event successful.
People often think of me as the "face" of the CMF, but the truth is, this has never been about me. It's always been about we. Every one of you sacrificed your time, your energy, and your hearts to make this happen. I couldn't ask for a better team, and I am truly honored to stand beside each of you. I love you guys.
To PJ and the entire staff at Yankie's... thank you. Year after year, you welcome us with open arms, trust us with your facility, and support us 100%. You somehow manage to stay patient while we turn the place upside down for two days, and you always make us feel like family. We appreciate you and your entire crew more than you know. Thank you for believing in what we're trying to do.
To our incredible volunteers... thank you for giving your time, your energy, and your hearts to support this worthy cause. Events like this simply don't happen without people willing to step up and help others. We couldn't have done it without you.
To every musician who donated your time and talent... thank you. Both side stages were filled with incredible performances, and the KISS Jam once again reminded me why I love this musical community so much. There are no egos—just an unbelievable group of talented musicians coming together for something bigger than themselves. I love every one of you, and I am proud to call so many of you my friends. Thank you for making the soundtrack to another unforgettable weekend.
To Trixter—Steve, PJ, and Ben—thank you for helping us kick off an incredible weekend. You rolled in with great attitudes, treated everyone with kindness and respect, and absolutely tore the roof off the place. We couldn't have asked for a better way to launch our 10th Anniversary weekend. Thank you for being such genuine, down-to-earth guys. We hope you had as much fun as we did.
To everyone who came out, bought tickets, purchased raffle tickets, grabbed some food or a drink, and simply spent the day with us... thank you. Every raffle ticket you bought, every dollar you spent, and every smile you shared helped make a difference. Without your support, none of this would be possible. You are the reason we're able to do this year after year.
To our amazing sponsors... thank you for believing in what we do and helping make this weekend possible. Your generosity helped turn an idea into another successful event, and we are forever grateful for your support.
And finally, to the B Brave Foundation...
What you do for children and families facing the unimaginable is beyond words. Thank you for allowing us to support your mission and for being such incredible partners throughout this journey. We truly hope we made you proud. Once we finish counting everything, we'll be honored to present you with one very big check.
As for the future...
I honestly don't know.
Ten years is an incredible milestone. Maybe it's the perfect place to close this chapter. Maybe we catch our breath, let our sore backs, aching knees, and tired feet recover, and decide there's another chapter left to write.
Right now, we're all the walking wounded, so I think we'll give ourselves a little time before making that decision.
But no matter what happens next, one thing will never change...
For ten years, we've shown what can happen when musicians, businesses, volunteers, sponsors, and an entire community come together for something bigger than themselves. Together, we've helped people we'll probably never meet, and we've done it with music, laughter, friendship, and love.
That makes me incredibly proud.
From the bottom of my heart...
Thank you for believing in the Cleveland Musicians' Fundraiser. Thank you for believing in us.
With love and endless gratitude

Our 2026 Beneficiary: B Brave Foundation

Cleveland, OH – October 16, 2025 — We’re excited to share that the Cleveland Musicians’ Fundraiser has selected the B Brave Foundation as our official charity partner for 2026! This announcement comes as we gear up to celebrate our 10th anniversary — a full decade of bringing our music community together to make a difference.

The B Brave Foundation supports children and families affected by pediatric degenerative neurological disorders, offering resources, advocacy, and hope through some of life’s most difficult moments. Together, we’re setting out to raise record-breaking funds and expand the foundation’s impact throughout Northeast Ohio.

“We are honored to work closely with the B Brave Foundation,” said our event organizer Scott Vaughn. “Their mission truly resonates with our community, and we look forward to a powerful year of music, unity, and giving.”

Over the past ten years, we’ve raised more than $212,000, welcomed over 5,000 attendees, and earned media coverage across radio, TV, and print. As we enter our 10th year, we’re ready to make this our most meaningful and impactful event yet.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you.

To everyone who showed up, played, sang, danced, donated, cheered, volunteered, or simply spread the word: you made the 9th Annual Cleveland Musicians Fundraiser something truly special. We are incredibly honored to have supported Paws Ohio, a cause close to so many of our hearts. Sure, there were a few bumps along the way (when isn’t there?), but we hope you had as much fun as we did while making a real impact for animals in need.

It was hot — fry-an-egg-on-the-stage hot — but even the blazing sun couldn’t stop the kindness, generosity, and incredible spirit that filled the day. Huge thanks go out to all of our amazing side stage performers who kept the music going and the energy high from start to finish: Driving Rain, Duane Albert, Three Day Weekend, Dan McCoy Band, Speedrail Reunion, Kiss Trivia with Ashley, Movin’ On, Follow the Sun, Lilah Yeager, Patrick Grieshammer, Grateful Kev, Ashley Boyce, Hello McFly, Mike Binder & Priscilla, and Eric Butler.

And of course, an enormous thank you to the 60+ musicians who brought the magic to our Main Stage — you absolutely crushed it.

We’re also beyond grateful to every volunteer, vendor, and food truck that helped bring this event to life. It truly takes a village, and yours showed up in full force.

Finally, this wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our generous sponsors. Please consider supporting the businesses that helped make it all happen: VLB Striping, Vecmar / Cashmatic, Marketing Firepower, Scotti G Entertainment, Active Plumbing, A Heavenly Helper, Tylok, The Cove, Sportsterz, Yankie’s, Action Collision Repair, and Pet Wants.

Thank you for the love, the sweat, the time, and the heart. You made a difference.

thank you!

To all the amazing fans and supporters of the Cleveland Musicians Fundraiser — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Over the past nine years, your generosity, passion, and love have fueled everything we do. Without your support, none of this would be possible.

We are committed to continuing our mission of bringing you the best live entertainment, unforgettable moments, and exciting raffle items — all to support the causes that matter most. Your presence and participation make a real difference, year after year.

A very special thank you goes out to KISS, whose legacy and spirit were the original spark that ignited this journey. They were the catalyst behind it all, and their influence continues to inspire what we do.

Here's to music, community, and making a difference — together.

With gratitude,
